poach.vc announcements + format update

We’re making a couple of improvements to how we send out emails for the Poach newsletter.

Schedule

We are switching to a Tuesday/Thursday sending schedule from a MWF schedule. Paid subscribers will still get 2x more founder leads than the free tier. Previously, Monday/Wednesday emails were for paid subscribers and Friday was free for all subscribers. Now, we’ll put 1/3 of founders before the paywall and 2/3 of founders after the paywall. This has the same benefit for paid users, but free users will now have a reason to open every email.

We’re also augmenting our Twitter tracking with other data sources. We already started this for the last three issues (0088, 0089, and 0090), so you may have already noticed the increased number and quality of featured founders.
